MISSION

The aim of Department of Library and Information Sciences in University of Sargodha Lahore
Campus is to make the students familiar with the techniques of record keeping,
enrich the student’s learning experience, encourage exploration and research at all levels and
contribute to advancements in access to scholarly resources.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Library and Information Sciences provides and supports resources,
research, and service for education and leadership to the library and information sciences
community and prepares information professionals of the highest quality to serve
dynamic roles in the state, the nation, and the world. The department prepares information
professionals who demonstrate excellence in leadership, service, research, and education in
a technology-driven world.

Programs

M.A Library and Information Science:
Eligibility:
At least 45% marks in Graduation or
equivalent

Duration: 02 years (4 Semesters)

Degree Requirements: Minimum 66 credit hours
